About Wonderland and You

Sun Jan 24, 2010, 9:15 PM
  • Mood: Yearning
  • Listening to: Mad as Rabbits
  • Reading: Only Revolutions
The allusions I give to you, related to the white rabbit, are merely just a figment of my imagination that likes to think that the moment I met you and fell for you was the moment I followed you down the rabbit hole and found Wonderland.

I might not be Alice, but I will do anything just to be by your side... even play pretend.

I'm mad as a hatter. I live in a fantasy world that is very close to reality; though nobody sees it, for I hide it behind my eyes, and at nights when the wonders threaten to escape, I close my eyelids so nobody catches a glimpse of my world of wonders.

Hey Aileen,
I was just kinda wondering if your answers were coming out as shot as mine on the homework.
I dunno, maybe I'm just not answering them right...
The first 2 on chapter 22 are a little confusing for me, do you know where to find the answer or maybe what it means?
I have things written down, I'm just not sure if they're right.

Thanks Aileen!
Talk to you soon!
XD
:iconaileen-in-horrorland:
Some of them are coming out really short.
The first 2 I have them, but I can't remember where I found the answer, so here, I'll send the answers to you:

1. It started in April 1914, when Huerta refused to apologize for detaining American sailors in Tampico; Wilson sent 800 marines to seize the port of Veracruz to prevent the unloading of a large shipment of arms for Huerta.
The second event that took place was the massacre led by Pancho Villa; in January 16, the rebel army seized a train carrying gold to Texas from an American mine in Mexico; he killed 17 American engineers aboard .
On March 9, a band of 400 to 500 of Villa’s men crossed the border from a predawn raid on Columbus, New Mexico, where they burned down Columbus and killed 18 Americans. After this, President Wilson dispatched 12,00 troops, led by General John J. Pershing. Villa escaped and Wilson recalled Pershing to prepare the army for the possibility of fighting in the Great War.

2. Wilson, obviously, was not interested in external affairs; but he had to take matters into his hands for economical reasons. He had to get involved into Mexican affairs because of the Zimmermann telegram.

The last one was really short, tho; but I think it is ok.

Anyways, I can't find the last one from chapter 22 and the last one from chapter 23 XD do you have them? Or have you find them?

Here's my email in case you have another question: criminal.insane@hotmail.com feel free to add me :p

I don't know what she means by contributed on on the last question on chapter 22. like in a good or bad way?
And in all honesty I'm barely finishing up chapter 23 right now. lol....this is extreme procrastination. lol. I'll look for them and then I'll tell you what I got and hopefully you'll get it in time.
but for right now for 18 I think I'm going to put wilson contributed in a bad way...we'll see. lol.
^_^
:iconaileen-in-horrorland:
It's alright; I think I've got numer 18... but I'm not sure; I just wrote down the number of people that the teacher mentioned during lecture, like the W. Wilson, Herbert Hoover, General Pershing, and also the industries.
